And today, his legacy of love continues. Why a Sponsor? Why ThankView?

Awesome, thanks so much for asking. You see, here’s what we believe. We can’t invite friends to mom’s kitchen table if they’re not willing to embrace her famous taco casserole. Translation: we’re not going to welcome partners to our table who don’t fully buy-in and represent the thing this Good Community is building.

They must buy into our pledge to value people and innovation equally, to seek justice and kindness in all things, and to walk genuinely and kindly toward making this world a better, more loving place. That’s our pledge to you, always. Which is why a partnership with ThankView was easily the most obvious first choice.

So ThankView is this super amazing tech startup focused on making outreach more impactful for nonprofits through personalized videos. Whether you’re creating sincere thank you's or spicing up event invites, it’s next level in terms of genuine donor engagement. We’ve used the platform in past jobs with huge success. In fact, it helped us up our stewardship personalization game big time. But that’s not the best part. The real magic was that they are Good Humans who had an amazingly kind story to share this week too.

Here’s a snapshot: following George Floyd’s death earlier this summer, ThankView’s founders were grappling with how to become active participants in creating positive change, so they did a wholly inspiring thing. They gave each of their employees $1,000 to donate to the charity of their choice and placed no restrictions on where it went. The result - 42 nonprofits around the world benefited from this incredible showmanship of generosity. Check out the full list here. As Kindness Week 2020’s presenting sponsor, we wanted to celebrate this compassionate show of philanthropy by having a couple ThankView employees share what it meant to pay this gift forward. So each time we hit the middle of any of these amazing episodes, do us a favor - don’t skip forward. You’ll be missing out on an incredibly inspiring story you didn’t know you needed to hear today.

We hope you enjoy them as much as we did.

If you’re curious about those videos, enjoy some Stewardship 2.0 level awesomeness here. Bravo, authentic storytelling champions!
