Birthday Week Playlist Curated by Jon
Hey guys 👋 I've really been thinking a lot lately about the gift of this present moment. [Deep breath, ya'll.]
In taking the leap of faith to leave my job of 15+ years in the nonprofit world - and choosing to finally chase the vision and dream that is We Are For Good, it has created a lot of moments this year to sit and reflect - and man, it's been so healthy.
This podcast has been a weekly, tangible reminder to soak up This. Very. Moment. Every week we welcome guests that inspire us - and move us. And I really try to enter each conversation with reverence and the realization of what a gift it is to sit across the screen - or across the table from people who are changing the world in such meaningful ways.
If you know me - you know I'm horrendous at multitasking. So being present also means - slowing my roll and choosing to do one thing at a time - well. So I hope this playlist encourages you the way it has me to appreciate every gift of time with others as a chance to sit - and listen - and simply soak up this very moment. For those in development - active listening is probably the highest ROI skill you can master too (in case you need another reason besides just a better friend to all - ha!).
So cheers to a year of the podcast - and the joy of listening, learning (and laughing - a lot.) It's all good for the soul. I hope these episodes resonate with you as much as they have with me.
So glad you're here.🤝
