Jon & Becky’s Tips
1. Be resilient.
Those who are not taking risks, don’t have a lot of success. Are you doing things the way they have always been done? We all know we will experience failure in our lifetimes. Disrupt, grow, adapt and repeat. Daring innovation lies in the hands of the dreamer. When we honor that spirit, it creates truths that we will never stop listening, pushing to think bigger, and sharing. Risk taking is beautiful, and amazing things come out of it.
2. Play the long game.
In the grand scheme of your mission and life, what does this one moment really amount to? How you pick yourself up is really what matters. Failure is A-OK. Feel empowered today to take risks.
3. Be brave, not perfect.
You are going to hear no. You have to increase your pipeline by 3%. A part of our business is rejection, and it is not a reflection on us. We are human and we rethink everything. Embrace the fact that this is essential to our business, and power through it. Prepare yourself for what will inevitably come. Do not internalize process these no’s as rejection, this will just make you doubt your capabilities. Courage is critically important, without that activation of courage, you will just be standing still. We want to innovative, grow, disrupt, and then repeat.
